When your Iranian friend comes to Chicago, there are only two places that you can take them to in Chicago and Noon O Kabab is one of them. We went on Labor Day and the restaurant was so beautiful. You feel instantly transported to a dear friend's luxurious living room. The hospitality of the wait staff was amazing! My friend got a chance to discuss the menu items in Farsi with the owner which she wasn't able to do at the other Persian restaurant around the corner. We ordered many dishes based on the owner's recommendation. The aash-e-reshteh soup was like a warm hug and flavorful! The kash-ke-bademjan had a great deep flavor profile, I didn't realize eggplant could taste so good. We also ordered the family platter B. The kababs were flavorful according to my friend and thought it was the best she had in USA. The best part of this meal was that we ate a lot, but we didn't feel stuffed. I say that's a win because the ingredients were healthy and fresh. Two things to note, this restaurant does serve alcohol but it also carries Zabiha-halal food. The halal certificate by the door needs to be updated.

One of the best Persian places you'll find. My wife grew up in a Persian household and her dad lives in SoCal so we've had a lot of Persian food but this has LONG been her go-to option in Chicago. Koubideh is amazing, and while I've had better Joujeh in London it's hard to complain too much here. My wife always gets the Kashk-e Bademjan and says the Hummus is also very good while pitas are fine and the rice is always done well. After living in New Orleans for over a decade with no Persian food it's great to have Noon O Kabab as an option again. And you can get delivery which is packaged up nicely and is a great option for many. Definitely worth a visit or a delivery order, check it out!

Saved this gem for Father's Day but I also ordered via Door Dash the week prior for science! But in all seriousness, EAT HERE & be sure to wear your eating pants. The meats are cooked to perfection, the rice is heavenly & there are so many options to choose from. Veggie, seafood, & meats from chicken/beef/lamb. There is something for everyone. Portions are generous & you won't leave hungry. You might leave with leftovers. I promise the food reheats well! So far, I've tried the Ground Beef Koubideh, Soltani, & Lamb Combo. All delicious & outstanding. There's a fine dining side & another side for take out & casual seating. Parking lot is small & I recommend coming early as it gets busy shortly after opening. I'll definitely be back as the menu's extensive & service was stellar. I've enjoyed both meals & fine dining today was wonderful for a special occasion!

Generous portions (1.5 servings imo) and reasonably priced, flavorful sauces and very quick service! Casual environment, you order at the counter and find a table. There is a small parking lot

This place has been my favorite since I was in middle school, and even now, in college, I make it a point to visit whenever I'm back home. I had a date here, I reconnected with my friends here, I also dined in with my family here. It holds a lot of memory, and I truly enjoy eating here. The interior decor, food portion, and customer service have always been excellent with no issues over the years. The staff are consistently friendly and efficient. I always order the Koubideh with lentil soup, though the sides can be inconsistent - sometimes onions, beets, and feta cheese, other times just onions. While I'm understanding about this, I've noticed the prices increasing over time, which is to be expected in any business.

Overall Thoughts: This is a popular Persian restaurant in Albany Park that was crowded even at 3pm on Sunday. You order at the counter and the food comes out quickly. The food was for the most part delicious with large portions, though some elements were a bit lacking in flavor. The prices were reasonable for the portions (~$25 pp for my group of 3). My favorite dish was the joujeh koubideh (chicken breast ground, seasoned, and charbroiled) and if I'm ever back, I'll have to get more dishes with that, as well as try more of the bastani flavors. Food I tried: - Kash-Kebademjan (4.4/5): This was tasty! The smokey, roasted eggplant flavors were robust, and paired with the copious amounts of quality olive oil, was very savory. I wish the pita that came with it were warmed up / toasted though. - Lamb Shank Plate (4.1/5): The lamb shank was very tender and fell off the bone, but overall the stew itself was missing some flavor. The rice could've also been more flavorful. I liked the crispy texture of this pita, but it wasn't very conducive to eating it with the rice/lamb. - Shrimp and Joujeh Koubideh Plate (4.7/5): Favorite item we ordered all because of the joujeh koubideh, which was SO good... literally some of the tastiest, juiciest chicken I've ever had. Highly recommend any dish containing the joujeh koubideh. Same critique around the rice and pita. - Saffron Bastani (4.4/5): A staple Persian dessert, I was glad to have tried this. The texture is similar to gelato and the flavor had strong floral notes. -- Price (relative to peers): 4.4/5 Food: 4.4/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Service: N/A Overall Value: 4.5/5

It's time for another glowing review! My dad loves the lamb shank, my mom loves the koobideh but that's old news-- this is about the service. After an 11th hour cancellation of our order by Reza's , I turned in desperation to Noon O Kabob. We called them directly and ordered. I had thought that they were too far for my parents to be in range for delivery, but it wasn't an issue. I had a complete meltdown trying to locate the credit card and then (I have low vision) I couldn't even find the phone! It all worked out. Patient and compassionate-- Noon O Kabob saved Noruz for my parents.

Great food! I wanted to come here because I heard this place was better than Kabobi which is my favorite place in the city. There are two parts to this place. There's the seat yourself section. You find your own table that's available, order with the cashier, they give you a number card, and they bring you your food. I heard this was tends to be faster and less expensive. The other half is your classic dine in nice restaurant. Prices tend to be higher, but you get a waiter/waitress and don't have to find your own seat. When we got there we had to wait a long time. There was a point too where people that were coming after us we getting seated before we did. I don't think it was with Ill intent. I think because most people come with parties of 4 or more the big tables cleared up a lot faster than the smaller tables. With that said, I highly recommend coming at an off hour, using their seat yourself section of the restaurant, or getting a reservation. The food is great! I think the best part of this place is the how they cook their meats. The kubideh was cooked to perfection. I feel like when we order kubideh it can be a little dry, but here the kubideh was so tender and juicy. I do wish the kubideh had some more spices. It did lack a little of that flavor. The beef kabob was 10/10. Juicy flavorful just amazing. One thing I wish was a little more flavorful is the dill rice. I love dill rice, but there's didn't have as much flavor as I would hope. We also got the saffron ice cream. The flavor was great, but it has an icy texture that's closer to sorbet. It tastes great, but I just prefer a creamy ice cream rather than that sorbet like texture.

I tried the location on the north side years ago, and I couldn't forget how delicious their kabobs tasted. I was so happy to hear the opened a location closer to me in hickory hills. I had the lamb kabobs and they were so juicy. I love dipping it in garlic sauce. I also recommend the tea. The falafels weren't my favorite, the sauce tasted weird. I will say seating was inconvenient because of the remodeling . They have a huge parking lot, and looks like the restaurant will have plenty of seating. I can't wait to go back for it's grand opening.
